I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants having qualified with PKF in Sheffield and worked for many years in Grant Thornton’s Sheffield and Bristol tax departments.
Having decided to specialise in tax planning upon qualification, I have extensive experience in all aspects of corporate tax work including acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations and reconstructions. In addition, I have advised numerous not-for-profit organisations and completed scores of share valuation assignments for employee incentive schemes, stamp duty returns and for probate applications.
I am married with three grown up children and am an enthusiastic bridge player (whose results clearly reflect my status as one of the world’s most perpetually unlucky players). If the sun is shining I will readily turn out for occasional games of golf – but only with people who are also “28 handicappers”.
