Arya Saji

My journey into the world of accounting began during high school, where I first discovered a deep affinity for numbers and problem-solving. It was during this time that I topped my class in Accountancy—a moment that not only gave me confidence but also laid the foundation for what would become a rewarding career path. Driven by this passion, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting and Finance which helped me build a solid grounding in core financial principles, followed by a Master’s degree in Forensic Accounting, where I explored the investigative side of finance.

I am currently an ACCA finalist and joined Harbour Key as a Trainee Accountant in 2025. In my role, I am actively involved in a variety of accounting and compliance tasks, while continuing to expand my technical skills and professional knowledge. What I enjoy most is the opportunity to work on real-world challenges that require both precision and critical thinking, alongside a team that is as supportive as it is knowledgeable.

Outside of the office, I’m an avid runner and find that getting outside for a run is one of the best ways to clear my mind and stay focused. I also enjoy colouring intricate mandala patterns, which I find both relaxing and creatively fulfilling—a perfect way to unwind and stay present. Traveling is another passion of mine. I was born in Oman, later moved to India, and have now been living in the UK permanently for the past three years—an experience that has shaped my appreciation for different cultures, people, and ways of thinking. When I’m not exploring new places, I cherish spending time with loved ones, whether it’s a quiet evening at home or a weekend adventure.
